Work With Me — Python and Bash Scripts, Automation and Linux

I write Python and Bash scripts, automate repetitive tasks and help organize Linux environments. If you have manual work to automate or a script that keeps breaking and nobody knows why, I can help. I am self-taught and work in Arch Linux every day.

What I do

  • Automation scripts (Python / bash) — repetitive, manual work turned into a script: file processing, moving data around, cron jobs, glue between tools. With error handling and type hints where it makes sense — not “works on my machine.”
  • Linux environment setup — putting a working environment together so you’re not fighting it every day: dotfiles, shell, CLI tooling, repeatable machine setup. I’ve run this on my own Arch box for years — I’ll set up the same for you.
  • Script reviews and debugging — a script works one time in three, or you inherited undocumented code? I inspect what it does, investigate the cause and explain what needs fixing.
  • An AI-assisted technical WordPress blog — WordPress setup, PL/EN versions, SEO, newsletter and a content creation and publication workflow. We agree on scope at the start. The blog owner is responsible for approving the factual content of generated articles; I make that responsibility explicit before work begins.

How I work with AI

Some code is created with help from AI models. The model speeds up the first draft. I read and test the code I deliver, can explain it and take responsibility for it.

Accountability

Revisions until it works. We agree on the specifics up front — what the script does and how we’ll know it works. You get that, working. If it doesn’t do what we agreed, I fix it until it does — no counting rounds. I don’t sell “packages” or hours in a vacuum; I sell a result that matches the brief.

Engagement

Billing runs through Useme, using an agreement for specified work with copyright transfer. The platform handles billing documents and invoices the client. Information about copyright documents is available in Useme help.

How I Approach Code — Examples in Articles

My articles show the reasoning I use to analyze code and Linux problems:

Getting started

Tell me what you want to automate, what Linux problem you have, or what blog you want to build. For a script error, describe the expected result, what happens now and the runtime environment. We can then agree on scope and a quote.

FAQ

If you use AI, why do I need you? You pay for solving a concrete problem: analysis, checking the code and responsibility for the agreed result. Generating a first draft alone does not provide that.

You’re not a specialist — why should I hire you? Because I tell you plainly what I can and can’t do, and I only take on what I’ll deliver. You get a working script with a revisions-until-it-works guarantee, not a promise of an expert in everything.

Will I receive an invoice? Yes. Useme handles billing and the invoice.
